COVID-19


Over the last few weeks I have been devising a back to work plan that will not only keep myself safe, but my clients as well.


Please note this is my salon room rules, the salon will utilise a different one upstairs.


I already have the highest sanitising standards. I use single use items, biodegradable, where I can, my hygiene has always been impeccable between clients, I never double dip and sterilise all nail implements between clients. These standards have now been made higher, now introducing masks and gloves for all treatments. Duplicating metal instruments, so they can be sterilised longer between clients, I have also purchased a perspex shield for nail appointments.


Salon appointments will now run a little longer, clients will no longer be able to use a waiting area. I will have a 15 minute buffer time between each client, so I can thoroughly clean and sanitise my room between each client.

Clients will not be allowed to bring guests, or children to wait with them, this is for everyone’s safety.  


Mobile appointments will now run a little longer, please allow me to wash my hands on entering your premises and before leaving. I will have 70% alcohol gel on me, which I have always used between clients, but the extra measures are to protect myself and my next client.


Social distancing will be tricky in my line of work. I will have to be closer than 2m. However, I do ask that all other household members please remain at an extra distance, for everyone’s safety.


If you are experiencing and symptoms of COVID-19, please alert me prior to our appointment, we can rearrange. On a personal note, please do not use this as a last minute cancellation reason, without the symptoms. I am removing my 72 hour cancellation fee for COVID-19 symptoms due to safety reasons, please do not intentionally use this for other reasons.


Consultation and Record cards will be filled in and signed every appointment, this is not just for my record of treatment, but also for health and safety.


I am now a cash free business. I accept contactless card (up to £45) contactless Apple Pay and BACS payments.


I have posted both my BARBICIDE®️ and my GTI COVID-19 Infection and Prevention and Control certificates, to show that I have updated my knowledge in these areas.
